Nigerian Air Force releases list of shortlisted candidates, announces date for aptitude test

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially released the list of shortlisted candidates for its 2025 Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) recruitment exercise. Successful applicants have been invited to participate in the Zonal Aptitude Test scheduled to hold on Saturday, October 25, 2025, by 7:00 a.m. across designated centres nationwide.

According to the announcement published on the official NAF recruitment portal. All the shortlisted candidates are expected to check their names and proceed to their respective test centres as indicated in their invitation letters.

How to Check the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) DSSC 2025 Shortlist

Applicants can check their names by visiting the official NAF recruitment website.

Click on the particular state you selected during the online application to check your name whether you have been shortlisted or not.

Designated Aptitude Test Centres

The aptitude test will be conducted simultaneously at the following zonal centres across the country:

  • Bauchi – Air Force Base, Bauchi
  • Ikeja – Sam Ethnan Air Force Base, Ikeja, Lagos
  • Ipetu – 209 Quick Response Group, Ipetu-Ijesa, Osun State
  • Jos – Air Force Base, Jos
  • Kaduna – NAF Base, Kaduna
  • Kano – Air Force Base, Kano
  • Makurdi – NAF Base, Makurdi, Benue State
  • Port Harcourt – 115 Special Operations Group, Port Harcourt
  • Yola – Air Force Base, Yola

Requirements for the Aptitude Test

Candidates are required to report to the venue by 7:00 a.m. prompt with the following:

1. Acknowledgment slip or printout of the NAF application form.

2. Writing materials (pen, pencil, and eraser).

NAF authorities have also reminded candidates that the selection process is free of charge, warning against dealing with fraudsters or making any form of payment to individuals claiming to influence the recruitment outcome.

Next Stage of the Recruitment

Candidates who perform successfully in the aptitude test will proceed to the next phase which include interview and medical screening. This will be communicated through the official portal and NAF social media channels.
