How to Register for the NIYEEDEP Empowerment Fund on the NIYEEDEP Registration Portal
STEP 1: Visit the NIYEEDEP registration portal (now referred to as YEIDEP).
You can access their NIYEEDEP registration portal official website to start your application.
STEP 2: Register and complete your application.
Now that you are already on their portal, look for a button that says “Register” and click on it.
Next, you will carefully input your email and phone number and choose a password.
Kindly document all these details because that is what you will use to log in next time. Also, ensure that you supply a valid email and phone so you don’t miss the information as of when due.
STEP 3: Complete the Form
Here, you will fill in your additional details. These are:
- Name, DOB, gender
- State, LGA, nationality (must be Nigerian)
- NIN, BVN (if any), education, or work history
- Business idea and sector (like agriculture, ICT)
- Ensure your info matches your ID.
NOTE: Once you have completed your application on the NIYEEDEP registration portal, you will receive your unique code. This is the code you will take to any of the three partner banks (Fidelity, Keystone, and Lotus Bank) to create your special account for disbursement of funds.

STEP 4: Account Creation & KYC
You will definite receive a unique code. This is the code you will use at the bank. Visit the any of the partner banks (Fidelity, Keystone, and Lotus Bank) with your ID, BVN, NIN, and passport photograph for KYC.
STEP 5: Wait for Shortlisting and Screening Notification
After registration closes, NIYEEDEP will review all applications and they will start contacting shortlisted applicants through email or SMS for the next phase. The next phase might include verification and empowerment fund disbursement.
