Sterling Bank, in collaboration with the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN), has launched a ₦20 billion loan scheme funding programme to support women-owned and women-led businesses across Nigeria.

The initiative aims to make access to finance easier for female entrepreneurs and help them expand their businesses in key sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, fashion, and food & beverage.

Through this programme, qualified women can access loans of up to ₦75 million with a repayment period of up to three years. The goal is to remove financial barriers that often limit women in business and empower them to scale their operations sustainably.

To be eligible, applicants must be women entrepreneurs running registered businesses in Nigeria that are either owned or led by women.
