The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the commencement of recruitment for qualified teachers with strong ICT skills to serve as Proctors during the 2026 Computer-Based WASSCE (CB-WASSCE).

The initiative is part of WAEC’s commitment to ensuring transparency, efficiency, and technological advancement in its examination processes. Selected Proctors will play a crucial role in supervising, monitoring, and maintaining integrity during the conduct of the Computer-Based Tests (CBT).

Successful candidates will undergo intensive training to familiarize them with WAEC’s digital examination systems, proctoring tools, and security procedures. The training will prepare them to handle examination software, monitor candidate behavior, and respond effectively to technical challenges that may arise during the exams.
