The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released an important update confirming that its 2025 recruitment exercise is moving to the next stage which are the CDCFIB Physical Screening and Document Verification for all the shortlisted applicants.
Latest CDCFIB Recruitment Official Announcement
In a notice dated 27th November 2025 and signed by Maj Gen (Rtd) AM Jibril, Secretary to the Board, CDCFIB confirmed that applicants who performed well in the earlier stage have been shortlisted to participate in the physical screening and document verification exercise across all states and the FCT.

CDCFIB Physical Screening Schedule (2025)
- Venue/Date Selection: Monday 1st – Wednesday 3rd December 2025
- Physical Screening: Monday 8th – Friday 12th December 2025
The CDCFIB board has clearly stated that the physical screening will take place across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and that the five-day screening exercise will accommodate shortlisted candidates nationwide.
Who Is Eligible for CDCFIB Physical Screening
Only candidates shortlisted on merit are qualified to proceed. The Board stated that the selection was done strictly in line with the Federal Character principle and the operational needs of the Services under CDCFIB.

How to Choose Your CDCFIB Physical Screening Venue and Date
Shortlisted applicants must select their preferred venue and date on the recruitment portal within the stipulated window.
STEP #1: Visit recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
STEP #2: Log in between 1st and 3rd December 2025
STEP #3: Access your candidate profile
STEP #4: Select your preferred screening venue
STEP #5: Choose your screening date (8th–12th December 2025)
STEP #6: Ensure that you confirm your choices before you click on the submit button.
All shortlisted applicants are enjoin to note that the portal will only remain open for three days. Candidates must complete their selection before Wednesday, 3rd December 2025.

The Board congratulated all shortlisted candidates and reaffirmed that the recruitment process followed federal guidelines and service requirements.
CDCFIB recruitment Stage 4 involves bothe the Physical Screening and Document Verification.
The Physical Screening will be aim at evaluating physical fitness and suitability of all applicants for the paramilitary duties.
Also, the document verification is mainly to confirm all credentials submitted during the application
All successful shortlisted applicants should note that both activities will take place from 8th to 12th December 2025.

Pls Can I still change location to Lagos. Because during the cdcfib registration, I choose bauchi, now I want to move to Lagos.
It should be possible if there is choice for state of residence.
