The University of Ibadan (UI) has begun notifying successful applicants shortlisted for its 2025 recruitment exercise.
According to the message sent to candidates, the Computer-Based Test (CBT test) will hold from Tuesday, December 9 to Thursday, December 11, 2025.
Applicants are directed to print their photocard from the recruitment portal’s Status Page on Sunday, December 7, ahead of the screening. The photocard, alongside a valid means of identification, is compulsory for entry into the examination venue.
What Shortlisted Applicants Should Do Next
Here is a simple guide for all candidates who received the message:
1. Log in to the UI Recruitment Portal
Visit the recruitment portal via https://vacancies.ui.edu.ng/login on Sunday, December 7.
Once you have successfully log in, then go to the Status Page and print your CBT Photocard.
2. Prepare the required documents
You are expected to get the following document ready for the CBT exam:
Printed Photocard (must be clear and readable)
Valid ID Card (NIN Slip, National ID, Voter’s Card, Driver’s Licence, or International Passport)

3. Check your test date
The CBT runs for three days (Dec 9–11). Your specific exam date, time, and venue will be stated on the photocard. All you need is to pay attention to the exact date on your photocard to avoid missing out.
4. Arrive early at the venue
Arrive at least 1 hour before your scheduled time as late arrival may lead to disqualification. University of Ibadan, the first and the first best is time conscious.
5. Follow all Instructions strictly
You will not be allowed to take electronic devices into the examination hall. Therefore, it is expected of you to maintain order and comply with officials’ guidance.
Final Note for all Shortlisted Applicants
Only shortlisted applicants who receive the official message and print their photocard will be allowed into the exam hall.
