This annual initiative reflects AKISAN’s ongoing dedication to developing education, empowering young people, and supporting academic excellence in both the United States and Nigeria.

AKISAN USA Scholarship Program Benefits
The program offers the scholarship in two categories:
- $500 for 10 students studying in the United States
- ₦100,000 for 62 students enrolled in Nigerian higher institutions
AKISAN USA Scholarship Program Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
1. Be indigenous to Akwa Ibom State.
2. Be enrolled in an accredited Nigerian institution of higher learning (University, Polytechnic, College of Education, or Maritime Academy).
3. Provide a certificate of origin and a recent transcript or WAEC result (for first-year students).
4. Be registered for the current academic semester.
5. Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduates or a 3.0 GPA (on a 5.0 scale) for first-year students.
