Requirements for NIPES Undergraduate Scholarship
Must be currently enrolled in a recognized higher education institution.
Studying in courses related to science or engineering.
Open to students from 100-level and above.
Mandatory: Applicants must complete at least one free NIPES online course and describe the skills acquired in their personal statement.
Priority Consideration:
NIPES student members will receive priority during the selection process. Non-members are encouraged to join NIPES to improve their chances of being selected.

Selection Process
Candidates will be assessed based on:
NIPES student membership status.
Quality and content of the personal statement.
Proven enthusiasm for the skills.
Completion of two NIPES courses and description of acquired skills.
Compatibility with NIPES values and mission.

How to Complete the Free NIPES Course
As part of the application requirements, you need to enroll in and finish one of NIPES’s complimentary online courses. These courses aim to enhance practical skills and creative thinking. After completing the course, you will receive a certificate of achievement, which you must reference in your personal statement.

The application procedure consists of 3 steps as follows:
Register on the NIPES website as a student member (for non-members) here.
Complete a free NIPES online course of your choosing here.
Submit your personal statement (500-750 words) detailing the skills you learned from the course and how they relate to your academic or career ambitions here.
