The Ondo State Agri-business Empowerment Centre (OSAEC), with its renewed mandate to transform agriculture and serve as a skill acquisition and incubation centre for unemployed youths, has officially launched the Adiye Irorun Poultry Empowerment Programme.
The initiative, spearheaded by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and announced by the Senior Special Assistant on Agriculture and Agribusiness, is designed to empower young people across all 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State to build sustainable and profitable poultry businesses.

About the Ondo State Adiye Irorun Poultry Empowerment Programme
The Adiye Irorun Programme is a life-changing agricultural empowerment initiative aimed at:
- Creating jobs for unemployed youths
- Promoting agribusiness and food production
- Turning poultry farming into a reliable source of income for young people
Under this programme, beneficiaries will receive:

2. Free training and continuous technical support

3. Promotion of non-traditional crops and livestock such as:
- Ginger, cotton, tomatoes, onion, cabbage, kenaf
- Fish, micro-livestock and other agricultural value chains

How the Ondo State Adiye Irorun Programme Works
1. Selected participants will receive day-old chicks and all necessary production support.
2. You will rear the chickens in your own poultry pen.
3. After the rearing period:
- The chickens will be taken back
- The cost of inputs provided will be deducted
- The remaining balance will be paid to you as your profit
This means you earn money simply by raising the chickens without worrying about startup capital.

2. Must have access to a poultry pen or space for rearing chickens
3. Must be interested in agribusiness and poultry farming
