The PIDOFAB Foundation has announced the commencement of the second edition of its Free JAMB Registration Scheme, aimed at supporting indigent and deserving students in Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State.
According to the foundation, the 2026 Free JAMB Registration Scheme (2.0) will cover 100 prospective candidates across the 13 council wards in Yakurr LGA.

The initiative is part of the foundation’s annual education support programme designed to reduce the financial burden of JAMB registration on parents and guardians and to encourage more young people to pursue higher education.
The foundation stated that this year’s edition builds on the success of the first phase and will ensure fair representation across all wards in Yakurr.
The programme is sponsored by Amb. (Chief) Fidelis Amos Apih, the youngest LEDU title holder in Yakurr.

Eligibility / Who Can Apply for PIDOFAB Free JAMB Registration Scheme 2.0
To qualify for the PIDOFAB Foundation Free JAMB Registration Scheme 2.0, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Candidate must be from Yakurr LGA of Cross River State
- Candidate must be 16 years old on or before September 30th, 2026
- Candidate must have a JAMB profile code
