The Okpeyo Temile Foundation (OTF) has opened applications for its 2026 Business Support Program, an initiative aimed at providing financial assistance and economic empowerment opportunities for entrepreneurs, petty traders, and vulnerable individuals across Nigeria.
The programme focuses on supporting small businesses and individuals who need financial backing to improve their economic stability and expand their income-generating activities.
The foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to community development, continues to promote education, skill development, and micro-enterprise growth.

Financial Support Programmes
The initiative offers four major programmes designed to support both businesses and individuals:
1. Business Support Grant (BSG)
This grant provides financial assistance and business development support to entrepreneurs. It is designed to help beneficiaries grow their businesses and improve productivity.
The programme targets:
- Petty traders
- Small business owners
- Micro-enterprise operators
- Local entrepreneurs with existing businesses
Beneficiaries may use the support to:
- Expand business operations
- Increase inventory or production capacity
- Improve productivity
- Generate more income
- Create employment opportunities

2. Support for Subsistence Living Programme (SSLP)

Beneficiaries may receive financial assistance and resources to help them improve their economic activities and achieve greater financial independence.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must fall into one of the following categories:

3. Individuals living in rural or underserved communities
4. Persons seeking financial assistance to support economic activities
Applicants are expected to demonstrate a clear interest in business development, economic empowerment, or community impact.
3. Academic & Advance Skills Development Programs (AASDP)
Providing scholarships and vocational training to help students excel academically and gain essential skills for their careers.
4. Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program (AEP)
Provides aspiring entrepreneurs with the resources, mentorship, and skills they need to turn their ideas into successful ventures.

Applications for the 2026 Okpeyo Temile Foundation Grant will be accepted within the following period:
- Opening Date: March 2, 2026
- Closing Date: March 22, 2026
