Applications are now open for the Yellopreneur Program 2026, a major women empowerment initiative by the Bank of Industry (BOI) and MTN Foundation.
The programme is designed to support female entrepreneurs in Nigeria with the tools, funding, and guidance needed to build and scale sustainable businesses.

About the BOI–MTN Foundation Yellopreneur Program 2026
The Yellopreneur Initiative focuses on:
- Entrepreneurial training
- Access to funding
- Mentorship and advisory support
The latest edition (Yellopreneur 3.0) introduces a ₦1 billion matching fund, expanding access to capital for women-led businesses.
Programme Structure
The programme follows a step-by-step process:
1. Training Phase – Intensive business and entrepreneurship training
2. Business Plan Development – Creation of bankable proposals
3. Pitch Stage – Participants present their business ideas
4. Funding Selection – Top candidates receive financial support
About 1,000 women will be trained, with the best selected for funding.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
1. Be a female entrepreneur in Nigeria
2. Own or run an existing business (at least 2 years old)
3. Operate in sectors such as:
- Agriculture
- Manufacturing
- ICT / Digital Services
- Processing
- Circular Economy / Waste Management
4. Source materials locally where possible
5. Be willing to fully participate in training and mentorship
