The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the release of the final list of successful candidates for the rank of Assistant Inspector of Customs (AIC) in the 2024/2025 Recruitment Exercise.

Candidates who applied for this position are advised to verify their status and complete all required post-selection procedures within the stipulated timeline to avoid disqualification.

This notice is for applicants who applied for the Assistant Inspector of Customs (AIC) position during the 2024/2025 Nigeria Customs Service recruitment exercise.

What Successful Candidates Should Do

After confirming your selection, you are required to:

  • Visit www.customs.gov.ng or check selected national newspapers to confirm your status.
  • Watch out for further instructions through your registered email address and/or SMS.
  • Log in to update.customs.gov.ng using your NIN or registered email address.
  • Upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
  • Update your current state of residence on the recruitment portal.
  • Accept your provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
  • Await the issuance of your Trainee Identification Number (TIN), which will be communicated within one week.
  • Wait for further information regarding documentation, physical screening, screening venues, dates, and other requirements.

Medical Certificate Upload

The portal for uploading Medical Certificates of Fitness will be activated on Friday, 31st July, 2026

Successful candidates must complete the upload within one week from the portal activation date.

Important Notice

Failure to comply with any of the outlined requirements or timelines may result in:

  • Disqualification from the recruitment process.
  • Withdrawal of the provisional offer of appointment.
