The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has adjusted the examination schedule for its ongoing primary school teacher recruitment exercise.
The change is due to the high number of applications received, and candidates should now wait for their individual examination details by email.
New Examination Schedule
This adjustment means applicants should not rely on the earlier August 14–15 examination dates. Each invited applicant will receive a specific date and time for the CBT.
- New Examination Dates: Thursday, 13th – Saturday, 15th August 2026
- Venue: Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti
- Examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
What Applicants Should Do
Your email is now particularly important because SUBEB will use it to communicate your exact examination date and time. Applicants should therefore check the email address provided during registration.
- Check your email for the examination invitation.
- Confirm your assigned date and time.
- Print your completed application form.
- Take the printed form to the examination centre.
- Attend only at your assigned date and time.
Important Examination Rules
Following these instructions is important because only duly invited candidates will be permitted into the examination halls.
- Do not go to the CBT centre outside your assigned time.
- Mobile phones and other electronic devices are not allowed inside the examination halls.
- Applicants must present their printed application forms for admission into the hall.
Note: Only successful applicants with NCE, Degree in Education or Postgraduate Diploma in Education will be considered for appointment.
Important Notice for Applicants
If you applied for the Ekiti SUBEB recruitment, check your email now and continue checking regularly for your examination invitation. Do not assume that all applicants will write the CBT on the same day.
The updated announcement was issued by Mike Omolayo, Permanent Secretary, Ekiti SUBEB, on 10th August 2026.
