Planning to apply for a master’s or other graduate programme but worried about the cost of the GRE?

The CABLe GRE Scholarship 2026 offers eligible African graduates an opportunity to have their GRE examination fully sponsored, helping remove one of the financial barriers to graduate school applications.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a citizen of an African country.
• Be 30 years old or younger at the time of application.
• Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree or HND.
• Have graduated between 2021 and 2026.
• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0 or its equivalent.
• Have an intention to pursue graduate studies. Proof of this is optional but may strengthen the application.

Required Documents

Applicants should prepare:

• Application essay: Maximum 500 words.
• CV: Preferably 1–2 pages and not more than 3 pages.
• Academic transcript: Must be certified and show final grades.

All required documents should be combined into one PDF file before submission.

Selection Process

The scholarship selection will take place in stages:

Application/Filter Phase: 10–23 August 2026
Test & Evaluation: 7–10 September 2026
Selection Phase: 11–14 September 2026
Final Scholars Announcement: 21 September 2026

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to take a GRE pre-test as part of the evaluation process.
