NYSC Announces 2026 Batch ‘C’ Mobilisation Dates as Senate List Upload Begins August 24

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the schedule for the submission and upload of Senate/Academic Board-approved lists ahead of the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Mobilisation Exercise.

According to a circular dated 17 August 2026 and signed by the NYSC Directorate Headquarters, the NYSC portal will be opened for Corps Producing Institutions (CPIs) to upload their approved lists from 24 to 31 August 2026.

All Students Affairs Officers (SAOs) of Corps Producing Institutions are expected to carefully collate and upload the required data to avoid errors.

NYSC stated that requests for corrections to submitted information will not be entertained, making accurate data submission important.

  • Upload of Senate/Academic Board List
  • Portal opening: Monday, 24 August 2026
  • Portal closing: Monday, 31 August 2026

Institutions are required to upload their Senate/Academic Board-approved lists. SAOs are advised to ensure that all submitted information is accurate.

Submission of Hard Copies

NYSC also announced that hard copies of the approved Senate/Academic Board lists must be submitted physically at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters (NDHQ), Abuja.

  • Submission period: Monday, 1 September – Friday, 5 September 2026
  • Who should submit: Students Affairs Officers (SAOs)

Failure to submit the hard copies may deprive affected graduates of the opportunity to register when the NYSC portal opens for online registration.

Important Requirement for Hard Copies

NYSC directed institutions to ensure that:

  • Every page of the hard copy is stamped and signed.
  • The document is properly indemnified by the Registrar.
  • The approved list is submitted by the designated Students Affairs Officer.

What This Means for Prospective 2026 Batch ‘C’ Corps Members

Prospective Corps Members should note that this stage is primarily an institutional process. Graduates should ensure that their institutions have properly processed and submitted their names for mobilisation.
