Ekiti SUBEB Releases CBT Shortlist, Announces Dates for Oral Interview and Micro-Teaching

The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has shortlisted 1,918 candidates for the next stage of its ongoing teacher recruitment exercise. Candidates who scored 50% and above in the recently concluded CBT are eligible for the oral interview and micro-teaching assessment.

Interview & Micro-Teaching Schedule

The next stage will hold as follows:

  • Tuesday, 25 August 2026: 493 candidates who scored 60% and above.
  • Wednesday, 26 August 2026: 515 candidates who scored 55%–59.5%.
  • Thursday, 27 August 2026: 490 candidates who scored 52%–54.5%.
  • Friday, 28 August 2026: 420 candidates who scored 50%–51.5%.

Time: 8:00 a.m. daily.
Venue: SUBEB Model Basic School, opposite the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Ado-Ekiti.

What Shortlisted Candidates Should Do

Candidates should prepare carefully for the next stage, as the assessment will involve both oral interviews and micro-teaching. They should:

  • Regularly check the email address used during application for their CBT results and official notifications.
  • Attend on the date assigned to them.
  • Dress appropriately for the interview.
  • Come with their original academic certificates and other relevant documents for verification.

Candidates without their original qualification certificates are advised not to attend the interview.

Only candidates who successfully progressed from the CBT stage should prepare for the oral interview and micro-teaching exercise.

Applicants are advised to rely on official notifications sent through their registered email addresses for their individual results and further instructions.

The development was announced by the SUBEB Executive Chairman, Prof. Femi Akinwumi, on 17 August 2026, following the conclusion of the three-day CBT exercise.
