What Happens After 100% Completion?
After the successful application completion, the portal will display what applicants should expect, which are the recruitment stages.
The portal displays the following sequence:

2. Application Screening — Pending: INEC reviews applications to determine whether applicants meet the requirements for the position they applied for.
3. Credential Verification — Pending: The credentials and information submitted by applicants may be checked as part of the recruitment process.
4. Shortlisting — Pending: Applicants who meet the relevant requirements may be shortlisted for the next stage.
5. CBT / Interview — Pending: Shortlisted candidates may be invited for the next assessment stage, which the portal identifies as CBT / Interview.
6. Final Selection — Pending: Successful candidates who complete the required stages may proceed to final selection.

What this means for INEC Permanent Staff Recruitment 2026 applicants
If you are already at 100%, your main responsibility now is to wait for official communication and monitor your application status.
Do not assume that 100% completion automatically guarantees:

- CBT invitation

- Employment
- Final selection

What Applicants With 100% Should Be Doing Now

- Make sure the information submitted during application can be supported by genuine documents.
- Begin preparing for a possible CBT/interview if invited.

Applicants should not conclude that they have been rejected simply because their dashboard still shows Application Screening, Credential Verification, Shortlisting, or another stage as pending.

Similarly, applicants should not be discouraged if another person’s dashboard changes before theirs. Different applications may be processed at different times.
