The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced the postponement of the opening of its screening portal earlier scheduled for 1st December 2025.
The portal is meant for shortlisted candidates who are expected to upload documents and complete other requirements ahead of the physical screening exercise.
According to the statement signed by Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd), Secretary to the Board, the portal will no longer open on the original date.
Instead, it will be made accessible as soon as possible, and candidates are advised to keep checking the official recruitment portal via recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng for updates on the new opening date. All shortlisted candidates are enjoined to make sure that they are sure of the venue and date of the Physical Screening and Document Verification they will be selecting.

The Board acknowledged the inconvenience the postponement may cause and expressed appreciation for applicants’ patience and continued interest in the recruitment process. CDCFIB also assured that all further announcements will be communicated through its official website and verified social media pages.
This means applicants who have been waiting to log in and upload documents should remain calm and continue monitoring the official portal for the new date once it is announced.
