Applications are now open for Data Collection Vacancies at the Crest Research and Development Institute (CRADI) as part of a nationwide agricultural research project across Nigeria.
CRADI is currently implementing a large-scale baseline study under its Agricultural Transformation Lab (ATL), covering all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), including all 774 Local Government Areas nationwide.
The initiative aims to generate important insights into agricultural systems, markets, innovation, value chains, and inclusivity across Nigeria’s agricultural sector.

Crest Research and Development Institute (CRADI) Data Collection Vacancies Overview
To support the successful execution of the project, CRADI is recruiting qualified and motivated individuals to work as Data Collectors across various communities nationwide.
Selected candidates will work closely with Field Supervisors and the Research Team to collect accurate and reliable field data while maintaining professional and ethical standards throughout the assignment.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with interest or experience in:
- Research

- Data gathering and reporting
Key Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be expected to:
- Participate in compulsory pre-fieldwork training
- Conduct interviews and surveys within assigned communities
- Accurately collect and submit field data using approved tools
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and timely reporting
- Follow ethical standards including confidentiality and informed consent
- Report observations and field challenges to supervisors

Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently

- Willingness to travel within assigned locations
The following will be an added advantage:
1. Previous experience in research or data collection
2. Knowledge of local languages within assigned areas
