The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially opened its portal for the recruitment of ad-hoc staff for the 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election.
Available roles include Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs), Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs I, II, III), Registration Area Tech Support Staff (RATECHSS), and RAC Managers.
Applicants must reside in Ekiti State and must not be affiliated with any political party.

Eligible Positions and Requirements
1. SPOs (Supervisory Presiding Officers)
- Federal Public/Civil Servants (GL 10–14)INEC Staff (not engaged in other duties, GL09–14)
2. POs / APOs (I, II, III)
- NYSC Corps Members (currently serving)
- Ex-Corps Members (not later than 4 years post-service: 2022–2025)
- INEC Staff (Grade Level 07 or 08)
- MDAs Staff (OND or GL07–10)
- Federal Tertiary Students (penultimate year)
3. RAC Managers
- Heads of schools or qualified staff (GL07 and above)
- RATECHSS (Tech Support)
- INEC ICT Staff (State & HQ not assigned to other duties)

Important Rules to Note
1. You must not be a political party member
2. You must not show support for any candidate or party
3. You must reside in Ekiti State (except INEC RATECHSS staff)
