The National Health Fellows (NHF) programme has officially commenced the Cohort 2 physical interview stage nationwide this week. This phase marks the final step in the NHF 2.0 selection process.
NHF has congratulated all candidates who made it to this stage, commending their commitment to contributing to the strengthening of Nigeria’s health system.
The Federal Government has also acknowledged candidates for confirming their availability for the interview stage.

How to Check Your Interview Details
Successful candidates have been sent their interview date, time, and venue via their registered email address, and the NHF candidate portal. The scheduled interview date is 12th – 16th January 2026.
All candidates are advised to log in and double-check their details to avoid missing their scheduled session.

Documents Required for the Interview
Each candidate is required to come with seven (7) hard copies of each of the following documents:
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter
- Local Government Indigene Certificate
- University/School Certificate
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Current Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- National Identification Number (NIN) slip
Failure to present these documents in the required quantity may affect participation in the interview.

Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates must arrive at the interview venue at least one hour before their scheduled time.
All documents should be properly arranged and ready for submission to the interview panel.
Candidates are encouraged to appear confident and well-prepared.
The physical interview is the final screening stage before the selection of fellows into the NHF Cohort 2 programme. Candidates are advised to take this stage seriously and ensure full compliance with all instructions.
