About the Nigeria BOGA Fund Programme
The Nigeria Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance (BOGA) Fund Programme is a policy and research initiative that supports Nigeria’s efforts to diversify its economy while promoting sustainable and climate-friendly development.
The programme is led by the National Council on Climate Change (NCCC) in partnership with the Africa Policy Research Institute (APRI). Its work focuses on strengthening policies that encourage economic diversification, green industrialisation, responsible resource management, and Nigeria’s transition to a low-carbon future.

1. Advisor, Strategic Communications & Engagement
The successful candidate will support executive leadership by coordinating strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and policy messaging across government and partner institutions.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes several important responsibilities aimed at strengthening communication and programme visibility, including:
- Prepare speeches, policy briefs, talking points, and executive presentations.
- Support high-level meetings involving government, development partners, and private sector stakeholders.
- Translate complex research findings into practical policy recommendations.
- Track decisions, commitments, and implementation progress.
- Develop communication materials, media briefs, FAQs, and programme reports.
- Coordinate public communication for key events and programme milestones.

Eligibility Requirements

2. Research Officer, Critical Minerals & Green Industrialisation
Location: Nigeria (Government-facing role)
The Research Officer will contribute to policy research and evidence-based recommendations supporting Nigeria’s energy transition and industrial development agenda.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Conduct research on critical minerals, industrial policy, and energy transition.
- Monitor policy developments, regulations, and global supply chain trends.
- Prepare policy briefs, research reports, memoranda, and analytical documents.
- Translate technical findings into actionable policy recommendations.
- Support institutional capacity development across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
- Promote alignment between climate, industrial, and mineral development policies.
- Coordinate with ministries, regulatory agencies, and other key institutions.
- Engage stakeholders across government, private sector, and development organizations.
- Support high-level policy consultations and stakeholder dialogues.

Eligibility Requirements
