About the Programme
The Digital Skills Development Programme (Cohort II) is designed to bridge the digital skills gap by providing participants with practical, industry-relevant training in high-demand technology fields.
To ensure quality learning, WEP is recruiting qualified ICT trainers who can deliver interactive, beginner-friendly, and hands-on training sessions while mentoring participants throughout the programme.
The training will run for three months and will be conducted physically in Abuja, FCT.
Training Areas
Applicants can apply to facilitate one or more of the following courses:
- Office Suite Essentials
- Graphic Design (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva)
- Video Editing (CapCut, Filmora, or similar software)
- UI/UX Design using Figma
- Web Development using WordPress CMS

Trainer Responsibilities
Selected trainers will play an important role in delivering quality learning experiences to participants.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver engaging, practical, and beginner-friendly ICT training sessions.
- Develop lesson plans, practical exercises, and assessment tools.
- Mentor participants throughout the training programme.
- Monitor learners’ progress and evaluate learning outcomes.
- Prepare training reports and provide feedback to the programme team.
- Work closely with the WEP team to maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage active participation and practical application of acquired skills.
Eligibility Requirements

- Possess a degree, diploma, or recognised certification in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Have practical experience delivering digital skills training or coaching learners.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the tools relevant to the course(s) they wish to teach.

- Be able to create an inclusive and empowering learning environment.
- Be physically based in Abuja (FCT) and available throughout the three-month programme.
