Mr. Japheth, the UI’SU General secretary mentioned that there is now an 80% guarantee that the School fees will be reduced.
“The key point here is that the fund will reflect once the issue of school fees has been finalized, he stated.
UI’SU General Secretary, Ogundijo Dolapo Japheth told our News agent that University of Ibadan Students who applied for the FG Students loan application should be assured that the institution is already making provisions for streamless refund of the remaining balance directly to the individual students’ accounts. He stated that fact that students should look forward to portal updates and refunds to the bank accounts they submitted on NELFUND PORTAL.
During our conversation with Mr. Japheth, he mentioned that UI’SU is currently aware that all the applicants have received their upkeep payments. “All institutions in Nigeria now have NELFUND officer, he stated. So, the Upkeep was sent directly from the NELFUND branch office in UI.
