The MTN ICT and Business Skills Training is a youth development program designed to equip individuals aged 18 to 35 with technology-driven skills to keep their small businesses competitive and relevant.
The training will take place over five weeks using a blended learning approach that includes both self-paced and instructor-led online sessions, alongside masterclasses led by industry professionals.

About MTN ICT and Business Skills Training Phase 7
Since its inception in 2018, six phases of the ICT and Business Skills Training have been successfully carried out in 22 states with the help of our ecosystem partners, which include Google, Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Digital Bridge Institute, CISCO, Meta, and Microsoft.
The states involved are Oyo, Kano, Nasarawa, Imo, Rivers, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Borno, Kaduna, Katsina, Adamawa, Anambra, Cross River, Jigawa, Kogi, Lagos, Edo, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Kebbi, Yobe, and Niger. A total of 9,382 young micro business owners have successfully completed this program, acquiring essential skills to enhance their businesses.
In this seventh phase, 6,000 micro business owners will take part in the ICT and Business Skills Training initiative.
Eligibility Criteria for MTN ICT and Business Skills Training Phase 7
- Must be a Nigerian either male or female within 18 – 35 years old
- You must own and manage a micro business. The business must have been in operation for no longer than 2 years
- You business should located in one of the following states – Abuja, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Enugu, Ondo, Plateau, Sokoto, or Taraba.
