The UNDP Nigeria Digital Innovation to End Digital Violence Against Women & Girls is now officially open.

UNDP Nigeria invites applications for Nigeria-based, demonstrably working tech or tech-enabled solutions that prevent, detect, respond to or monitor digital violence against women and girls.

This call is part of the 2025 16 Days of Activism campaign under the theme “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls.”

UNDP Nigeria Digital Innovation to end Digital Violence Benefits

The UNDP Nigeria has cleared stated that the program is tailored to support, strengthen and scale long-listed solutions.

It is also added that the top 6 shortlisted solutions will be:

• Showcased across UNDP Nigeria platforms during the 16 Days of Activism;
• Featured in an Innovation Spotlight at the UNDP Innovation Center (Lagos);
• Invited to present at a multi-stakeholder dialogue with government, regulators, private sector, digital-rights and women’s organisations.

Eligibility Criteria

Young Nigerian startup founders, social innovators, innovation hubs and labs working on tech or tech-enabled models addressing the four categories of digital risk: content risks, contact risks, conduct risks, and contract risks.

Women-led and youth-led teams are strongly encouraged.
