Applications are now open for the UNESCO-UNEVOC TVET Leadership Programme (TLP) 2026, a global leadership initiative designed for mid- to senior-level professionals in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
The programme is part of the initiative “Towards a Global TVET Agenda”, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth through the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training. It focuses on strengthening leadership capacity to drive institutional and system-wide transformation in TVET across regions.

Programme Theme: Leading Systems Change in TVET
The 2026 edition is themed “Leading systems change in TVET.”
Participants will explore strategies for translating policy into practice while enhancing institutional relevance, inclusiveness, sustainability, digital transformation, and green TVET practices. The programme uses a blended learning approach, enabling leaders to develop and implement institutional action plans for measurable change.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
The programme is open to mid- to senior-level professionals involved in:
- Leadership and management of TVET institutions
- Skills development and employment systems
- Policy implementation and quality assurance
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Partnership and networking coordination

Applicants must:
- Have at least five years of professional experience in TVET or related systems
- Demonstrate the capacity to drive change
- Be proficient in written and spoken English
- Secure institutional endorsement to participate fully
Active engagement throughout the programme, including the completion of an institutional action plan, is mandatory.
