About the OPay Operations Officer Role
The Operations Officer position is designed to support the efficiency and performance of OPay’s field operations across different regions.
Successful candidates will work closely with Business Developers (BDs), merchants, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of field activities, merchant engagement, reporting, and sales performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be expected to:
- Monitor and track the performance of usiness Developers (BDs)
- Conduct regular field visits to merchants
- Assess product adoption and merchant engagement
- Collect and analyze operational data using Microsoft Excel
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Support merchant onboarding and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company operational procedures
- Provide operational support and feedback to field teams
- Escalate and resolve operational challenges when necessary
Requirements
Interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in operations, sales support, or field operations
- Fintech, banking, or telecommunications experience is an added advantage
- Strong analytical and reporting skills

- Ability to work independently and manage field operations effectively
