About the Role
The Senior Incident Response Consultant will lead cyber incident investigations, support organizations during security breaches, conduct forensic analysis, and provide expert guidance on threat detection and remediation.
This role is ideal for experienced cybersecurity professionals with strong expertise in incident response, digital forensics, malware analysis, and cloud security investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead incident response investigations for client organizations
- Conduct host and network forensic analysis
- Perform malware analysis and threat-hunting activities
- Investigate complex cybersecurity incidents and security breaches
- Prepare detailed technical reports using multiple intelligence sources
- Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and security trends
- Mentor and support junior incident response consultants
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in incident response and cybersecurity investigations
- Strong knowledge of network forensics, malware analysis, and cloud investigation
- Proficiency in Linux or Unix operating systems
- Programming experience using Python
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously
- Experience mentoring junior cybersecurity professionals
