The NDE Renewed Hope Employment Initiative is a Federal Government programme designed to equip unemployed Nigerians with practical, employable skills and support them towards sustainable employment and entrepreneurship.
Through the initiative, approximately 21,824 beneficiaries will receive fully funded technical and vocational training in various high-demand sectors.

About the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 3
The Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) is one of the National Directorate of Employment’s flagship job creation programmes aimed at reducing unemployment and promoting self-reliance among Nigerians.
The programme connects participants with vocational, technical, agricultural, digital, and entrepreneurship training that aligns with labour market demands.
By combining skills development with business support, the initiative seeks to improve employability while encouraging participants to establish sustainable businesses.
As part of Phase 3, the NDE Job Creation Portal will facilitate registration, eligibility verification, and placement into suitable training centres based on applicants’ profiles and locations.

The assessment helps the NDE determine applicants’ eligibility and assign them to suitable training programmes and centres.
During the assessment, the following will be verified:

- Programme availability based on state of residence.
- Nearest available training centre.
- Age verification.

Interested applicants should complete their registration through the official NDE Registration Portal.
Step 1: Visit the official registration portal.
Step 2: Create your NDE client account.
Step 3: Enter your National Identification Number (NIN) to begin identity verification.
Step 4: Complete your personal information and other required details.
Step 5: Select your preferred programme, scheme, and skill set.
Step 6: Submit your application.
Step 7: Save your registration number and download your acknowledgement slip.
Step 8: If your State of Origin differs from your current State of Residence, update your State of Residence to match the information verified by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
Step 9: Complete the mandatory Pre-Enrolment Assessment and await further communication from the NDE.
