Applications are now open for the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) National Agricultural Mechanization Program (NAMP), a tractor financing initiative implemented in partnership with Heifer Nigeria to support agricultural productivity and mechanisation across Nigeria.
The programme provides eligible beneficiaries with access to modern tractors and agricultural implements through a structured Lease-to-Own arrangement designed to improve farm operations, increase cultivated land, and boost food production.

About the BOA National Agricultural Mechanization Program (NAMP)
The National Agricultural Mechanization Program (NAMP) is part of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agricultural Mechanisation Initiative.
Under the programme, 2,000 tractors procured by the Federal Government will be deployed through a Pay-As-You-Go (PAYS) model, allowing beneficiaries to gradually own the equipment while using it for agricultural activities.

- Digital monitoring and tracking through IoT technology

Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to:
1. Mechanisation Service Providers (MSPs)
This category targets individuals and businesses providing mechanisation services to farmers and agricultural enterprises.
2. Youth Agripreneurs
Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years and actively engaged in agricultural activities or agribusiness.
3. Women Agripreneurs
Female entrepreneurs involved in farming, agribusiness, or agricultural service delivery are encouraged to apply.
Lease Features
Applicants should note the following conditions:
- Lease period of 3 to 5 years
- 40% government subsidy on tractor cost
- 15% to 25% down payment required after approval
- Pay-As-You-Service (PAYS) repayment model
