The Police Service Commission has officially released the names of successful applicants in the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force.
The announcement was made through an official press release issued by the Commission following the successful completion of the recruitment exercise conducted in collaboration with key stakeholders in the security and public service sectors.
According to the PSC, candidates who participated in the recently concluded written examination can now check their recruitment status through the official recruitment portal.
Nigeria Police Recruitment Status Portal Opens 16 July 2026
The Commission stated that the recruitment portal will become accessible from 12:00 a.m., Thursday, 16 July 2026
All candidates are advised to log in and verify their status as soon as the portal opens.
How to Check Your Nigeria Police Recruitment Status
To check your status, follow these steps carefully:
- Visit the official recruitment portal: npfapplication.psc.gov.ng
- Enter the login details used during your application.
- Open your dashboard or recruitment status page.
- Check whether you have been shortlisted as a successful candidate.
- Download and print your training call-up slip if available.
The PSC also confirmed that successful candidates will receive notifications through the email addresses and phone numbers submitted during registration.
What Happens After Shortlisting?
Successful applicants will be required to report to their designated Police Training Institutions on dates that will be announced later by the Commission.
Upon reporting, candidates will undergo:
- Medical examination by the Police Medical Team.
- Verification and documentation of credentials.
- Final clearance before commencement of training.
Candidates who fail to report within the stipulated period will be treated as having declined the offer, while those who fail the medical examination will be declared unfit and withdrawn from the training programme.
Documents Required for Documentation
Successful candidates are expected to report with the following documents:
- Training call-up slip.
- NIN slip.
- BVN slip.
- Original certificates and credentials.
- Photocopies of all certificates and credentials.
- Any additional documents listed on the recruitment portal.
Applicants should ensure that all documents are complete and arranged before reporting for screening.
