Successful applicants are advised to monitor their registered email addresses and SMS for official notifications from the Nigeria Customs Service.

After receiving the notification, candidates should:

  • Visit https://update.customs.gov.ng
  • Log in using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address
  • Upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital

To ensure a smooth transition to the next phase, candidates should obtain their medical certificate as early as possible.

Candidates must upload their Medical Certificate of Fitness within one week of the portal activation date, which is 4th August 2026.

Trainee Identification Number

After accepting the provisional offer, candidates should wait for the issuance of their Trainee Identification Number (TIN), which will be communicated within one week.
