1. HR & Compliance Intern
Location: Virtual
This role is suitable for candidates interested in human resources, administration, compliance, governance and organisational development.

Key Responsibilities
The intern may be involved in:
- Supporting the development and implementation of HR and compliance policies.
- Maintaining staff, volunteer and intern records.
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Assisting with compliance documentation.
- Supporting the development and review of policies, including safeguarding and codes of conduct.
- Maintaining compliance and reporting calendars.
- Supporting governance and institutional documentation.
- Helping improve systems that strengthen organisational effectiveness.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences or a related field.
- Relevant internship, volunteer or work experience in HR, administration, compliance or the nonprofit sector is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

2. Programmes Manager Intern

This opportunity is suitable for candidates interested in programme development, project management, research, community development and social impact.
The intern will support the planning, coordination and implementation of programmes designed to address issues affecting girls and young people.

- Researching community needs and emerging issues affecting girls and young people.
- Developing project ideas aligned with BrenCare’s objectives.
- Supporting concept notes, programme frameworks and implementation plans.
- Contributing to programme calendars and portfolio development.
- Supporting programme budgeting and resource planning.
- Developing basic monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks.
- Identifying potential programmes and opportunities.
- Supporting programme implementation and coordination.
- Documenting programme outcomes, lessons and impact.
- Supporting initiatives connected to sustainable development and relevant SDGs.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Project Management, Education, International Relations or a related field.
- Experience in programme coordination, community engagement, research, volunteering or social-impact initiatives is an advantage.
- Strong research, writing, planning and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- An interest in girls, women, young people, social impact and programme development.

3. Communications & Content Intern
Location: Lagos / Hybrid
If you have an interest in content creation, digital communications, storytelling, social media or multimedia, this position may be a good fit.
The intern will help strengthen BrenCare Foundation’s digital presence and communicate its programmes, stories and impact to its audience.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate may support:
- Development and implementation of the organisation’s communications strategy.
- Creation and management of content calendars.
- Development of engaging social media and digital content.
- Photography, videography, graphic design and short-form video production.
- Documentation of programmes, stories and impact.
- Development of stories highlighting the experiences and voices of girls and young people.
- Digital campaigns and advocacy communications.
- Website and newsletter content.
- Consistent branding and messaging.
- Tracking content performance and digital engagement.
- Communications for partnerships, campaigns and organisational milestones.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mass Communication, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media or a related field.
- Experience creating social media, digital or multimedia content is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut or similar content-creation tools is an advantage.
- Strong writing, storytelling and visual communication skills.
- An interest in storytelling, social impact and digital communications.
- Knowledge of social media management and content analytics is an advantage.
