The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has officially announced its 2026 Recruitment Exercise for qualified Nigerians interested in building a career in road safety administration, traffic management, enforcement, and public service.

About the FRSC 2026 Recruitment Exercise

The Federal Road Safety Corps is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for appointment into different categories within the organization.

Interested applicants can apply under the Officer Cadre, Marshal Inspectorate Cadre, or Road Marshal Assistant Cadre depending on their educational qualifications and professional background.

1. Officer Cadre

A. Superintendent Route Commander (SRC) — CONPASS 11

Applicants must possess:

  • MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
  • Candidates must not be less than 18 years and not more than 35 years of age.

B. Route Commander / Deputy Route Commander (RC/DRC) — CONPASS 10/09

Applicants must possess a degree in any of the following disciplines:

  • Engineering
  • Other related professional fields recognized by FRSC

Additional Requirement:

NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.

Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years old.

C. Assistant Route Commander (ARC) — CONPASS 08

Applicants must possess:

  • B.Sc.
  • HND
  • Equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.

Age Requirement:

  • Minimum age: 18 years.
  • Maximum age: 35 years.

2. Marshal Inspectorate Cadre

This cadre is suitable for candidates with NCE and National Diploma qualifications.

A. Marshal Inspector I, II and III (MII, MI and MIII) — CONPASS 07 & 06

Applicants must possess:

  • NCE
  • ND
  • Any related equivalent qualification from recognized institutions.

Age Requirement:

  • Minimum age: 18 years.
  • Maximum age: 30 years.

3. Road Marshal Assistant Cadre

This category accommodates candidates with secondary school qualifications and trade skills.

A. Road Marshal Assistant I, II and III (RMA I, RMA II and RMA III) — CONPASS 05, 04 and 03

Applicants must possess:

  • Minimum of three (3) credit passes in SSCE, WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB.
  • Credits must include English Language and Mathematics.
  • Results should not be obtained in more than two sittings.

Age Requirement:

Applications are also invited from candidates with practical skills in areas such as:

  • Computer Operations
  • Driving
  • Motorcycle Riding
  • Electrical Works
  • Mechanics

1. Minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE, WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB.

2. Relevant trade certificates where applicable.

3. Appropriate driver’s licence for drivers and riders.

General Requirements for All Applicants

Before submitting an application, candidates should ensure they meet the following conditions:

1. Must be a Nigerian by birth.

2. Must possess a valid means of identification.

3. Must be medically fit.

4. Must present a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a government hospital.

5. Male applicants must have a minimum height of 1.65 metres.

6. Female applicants must have a minimum height of 1.58 metres.

7. Must possess the required educational qualifications.

8. Must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.

9. Must be of good character.
