The Katsina State Government has officially announced the recruitment of 2,158 teachers into public primary and secondary schools across the state.
This initiative, approved by Governor Dikko Umar Radda, is aimed at improving the quality of education and addressing the shortage of teachers in schools.
Out of the total positions, 1,500 roles are for primary schools, while 658 are for secondary schools. The recruitment exercise is part of the government’s effort to strengthen teaching capacity and improve the teacher-to-student ratio across Katsina State.

Who Can Apply
- Only qualified indigenes of Katsina State are eligible
- Applicants must meet the specified academic and professional requirements
- Candidates must apply once only (multiple applications will lead to disqualification)
Selection Process
1. Applications will be reviewed by an appointed committee
2. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Computer-Based Test (CBT)
3. Final selection will be based on performance and eligibility
