About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding clients’ financial goals, managing their banking relationships and recommending suitable wealth and investment solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with affluent clients.
- Assess clients’ financial objectives and risk profiles.
- Recommend suitable wealth management and investment solutions.
- Provide clients with relevant market insights and investment updates.
- Use digital wealth management tools such as myWealth to develop and monitor portfolios.
- Review client portfolios and adjust strategies when necessary.
- Deliver personalised service throughout the client’s financial journey.
- Work with wealth management teams and branch personnel to provide seamless client service.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory, risk management and financial crime prevention requirements.
Who Can Apply
This is a mid-to-senior-level banking opportunity, so applicants should have substantial experience dealing with clients and financial products.
- 5–10 years of experience in client acquisition, relationship management or retail banking.
- Experience working with affluent clients is particularly relevant.
- Knowledge of consumer banking and investment products such as treasury services, equities, investment funds and insurance.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian banking and client market is an advantage.
- Strong commitment to professional ethics, compliance and risk management.
Educational Qualification
Candidates are expected to have a solid academic or professional foundation relevant to banking and finance.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Law-related qualifications are preferred.
