The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced the next stage of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
According to a press release issued by the Board, applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 are to proceed to the physical screening and document verification stage.
Important Dates
Candidates are required to visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
Portal Access Period: 15th June 2026 – 20th June 2026
During this period, applicants should log in using the application number generated during registration to verify their recruitment status.
What Shortlisted Candidates Should Do
Applicants who are shortlisted will be required to:
- Upload their credentials on the portal
- Select their preferred screening date
- Choose a screening venue
- Follow all instructions provided on the recruitment portal

CDCFIB Warns Applicants Against Fraudsters
The Board emphasized that the recruitment exercise remains completely FREE OF CHARGE.
Applicants are strongly advised not to pay money to anyone claiming they can assist with:
- Shortlisting
- Venue allocation
- Document upload
- Access to screening centres
- Final selection
CDCFIB also warned candidates to disregard fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorized individuals impersonating the Board.
The Board stated that all authentic recruitment updates will be communicated through the official CDCFIB recruitment portal and approved communication channels.
The Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to conducting a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process.
Candidates who participated in the CBT are encouraged to check their status immediately once the portal opens, as the verification window is limited. For many applicants, this stage could determine who proceeds closer to final selection.
