The Federal Government has officially announces the date for TVET Programme Cohort 2 induction programme and training commencement nationwide.

Beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Initiative have been advised to prepare for the commencement of Cohort 2 training, as accredited training centres have begun notifying successful applicants of the next phase of the programme.

According to notices issued by participating training centres, the induction exercise for Cohort 2 will take place on Monday, June 29, 2026, while official training activities are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Beneficiaries are expected to complete all required documentation and comply with the programme’s guidelines before training commences.

Training centres have issued an important warning regarding the mandatory biometric enrollment process.

According to the notices, beneficiaries who failed to complete the required 10 Fingers Thumbprint Enrollment have been removed from the programme and will not be allowed to participate in the upcoming training.

This means that only applicants who successfully completed all registration and biometric verification requirements remain eligible for Cohort 2 training.
