Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the programme, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be 18 years or older at the time of application
- Must operate a legally registered business within Nigeria
- Must provide correct and verifiable personal and business information
- Must show evidence of business growth, impact, or scalability
Note that businesses or individuals who have previously won this award are not eligible to apply again.

Basic Applicant Details:
- Full name and personal information
- Registered business name
- Business location and operational base
- Gender and date of birth
Mandatory Business Requirements:
- Proof of CAC registration
- Valid Tax Identification Number (TIN)
Additional Documents to Strengthen Application:
- Tax clearance certificate
- Relevant regulatory approvals (e.g., NAFDAC or SON)
- SMEDAN registration
- Export or industry certifications (such as NEPC or ITF)
Providing these additional documents can improve the chances of being shortlisted.

Shortlisting Stage Requirement
Applicants who progress to the next stage will be asked to submit a short video presentation (maximum of two minutes). This video should clearly explain:
- What the business does
- How products or services are delivered
- The value chain and operations process
- The impact of the business on customers or the community
This stage helps evaluators better understand the uniqueness and potential of each business.
