The Mastercard Foundation Associates Program is a career development initiative that connects young African graduates to 12-month paid internship opportunities across various organizations.Â
Through partnerships with leading institutions, the program is designed to equip participants with practical experience, leadership capacity, and skills needed to succeed in today’s workforce.
Since its launch, the program has supported over 1,000 young people across 22 African countries, including women, persons with disabilities, refugees, and internally displaced persons.

3. Young Africans aged 18–35 seeking early-career opportunities
