NNPC/Chevron JV Scholarship Awards 2026 now open to all eligible and interested Nigerian undergraduates.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Limited) and Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) Joint Venture have officially opened applications for the 2026 National University Scholarship Awards Scheme.
The scholarship programme is designed to support outstanding Nigerian undergraduate students in accredited universities across the country by providing financial assistance that promotes academic excellence and educational development.
Eligible students are encouraged to submit their applications through the official online portal before the deadline.
About the NNPC/Chevron JV Scholarship Awards 2026
The NNPC/Chevron JV National University Scholarship is one of Nigeria’s leading undergraduate scholarship programmes aimed at reducing the financial burden on students while encouraging academic achievement.
Selection will be based on academic performance and success in a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
The scholarship is fully funded, and successful applicants are not required to repay any funds received.

1. Standard Undergraduate Category
Applications are open to full-time Second Year (200 Level) students admitted during the 2024/2025 academic session and studying any of the following courses:

- Surveying
- Geology
- Geophysics
- Geo-Informatics
- Law
- Mass Communication
- Journalism
- Engineering

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
1. Be a full-time 200 Level student in an accredited Nigerian university
2. Possess a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale
3. Have at least six (6) O’Level credits obtained in one sitting

2. Special Needs Category (Blind/Visually Impaired Students)
Visually impaired full-time 200 Level students enrolled in accredited Nigerian universities may also apply.
Special Needs Requirements
Applicants must:
1. Provide valid medical certification of visual impairment from a recognized medical institution or government-approved hospital
2. Possess a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale
3. Have at least five (5) O’Level credits
Important Information
Applicants should note the following:
SCHOLASTICA is the official application platform for the scholarship programme
1. Only online applications submitted through the official portal will be accepted
2. Applicants will participate in a Computer-Based Test (CBT)
3. Selection will be based on academic performance and CBT results
4. Multiple applications will lead to automatic disqualification
5. E-mail applications are not accepted
6. The application process is completely FREE
7. Chevron Nigeria Limited does not appoint agents or representatives for this scholarship
8. Submission of false information or forged documents will result in disqualification
Applicants under this scholarship scheme cannot simultaneously apply for other Chevron-sponsored scholarship programmes, including the Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals Scholarship (AMEPS).
