According to the directive from the NYSC Directorate Headquarters in Abuja, the Director-General has approved that the exercise will take place across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This update is important for all Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) preparing for mobilization.
The orientation course is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 22nd April 2026, with registration running from Wednesday, 22nd to Friday, 24th April 2026.
NYSC emphasized that the cut-off date for registration is midnight on Friday, 24th April 2026, meaning late arrivals after this deadline may not be admitted into camp.

The swearing-in ceremony will also take place on Friday, 24th April 2026, while the entire orientation exercise will officially close on Tuesday, 12th May 2026.
PCMs are strongly advised to make necessary preparations ahead of time, including printing their call-up letters, gathering required documents, and planning their travel to camp early to avoid last-minute issues.
