Applications are now open for the Bet9ja Foundation ScaleUp Accelerator. This is a high-impact programme designed to help early-stage Nigerian businesses grow sustainably.
This initiative provides non-dilutive funding, mentorship, and structured business support, making it a strong opportunity for founders who want to scale without giving up equity. Selected startups will receive up to ₦3 million in grant funding and participate in a 10-week accelerator programme.
At the end of the programme, participants will pitch their businesses, with one outstanding startup winning an additional ₦2 million grant. Only 10 startups will be selected, ensuring personalized mentorship and focused support.
Who Can Apply
Businesses must:
- Be registered in Nigeria (CAC or Business Name)
- Have operated for at least 6 months
- Be generating revenue
- Show traction (customers, partnerships, or pilots)
- Have strong scalability potential

Founders must:
- Be Nigerian citizens or legal residents
- Be between 22–40 years old
- Be actively involved in the business
- Be available to fully commit to the programme

Programme Structure
Duration: 10 weeks (mostly virtual which includes masterclasses, mentorship, and practical assignments
Weekly commitment: 4–6 hours (optional in-person sessions in Lagos)

Process for successful application submission
- Review eligibility requirements
- Prepare documents (CAC certificate, business plan, financials)
- Complete the application form (approx. 45–60 minutes)
- Submit supporting documents (PDF format)
Note: Only one application per founder is allowed.
